Background: The serum albumin-globulin ratio (AGR) is associated with malignancy outcomes. However, among patients with rectal cancer (RC) who undergo neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT), the clinical and prognostic significance of the pretreatment AGR is unclear.
